Control which staff members can perform each service.
Accessing Team Assignment
- Open a service
- Navigate to the Team Members tab
Selecting Staff
The tab shows all your team members with:
- Profile avatar
- Name and role
- Checkmark if selected
To Assign Staff
Click on a team member card to toggle selection.
Visual Feedback
- Selected members show a checkmark
- Card highlights when selected
Why Assign Team Members?
- Skill-Based: Only trained staff appear for specialized services
- Booking Accuracy: Customers see only qualified staff
- Scheduling: Prevents booking with wrong staff

Use case scenarios
Scenario 1: New service launch
A new service launches, only 2 staff are trained. The rest stay unassigned. Customers can only book the qualified two.
Scenario 2: Specialty roles
The salon has dedicated colorists and dedicated cutters. Colorists are assigned to color services, cutters to haircut services. Nobody can be booked outside their domain.
Scenario 3: New hire onboarding
A new junior arrives, can do basic services. Assign her only to those, leave advanced services unchecked until she's trained up.
Scenario 4: Universal new service
A new "Eyebrow tinting" service that all estheticians can do. Assign everyone. The service appears in everyone's calendar and is bookable across the board.
Tips
- Assign immediately when adding a colleague: an unassigned colleague is invisible at booking.
- Audit when launching new services: who can do this? Everyone you assign will be bookable.
- Match expertise to service: customers trust that only qualified staff appear.
- Re-audit periodically: skill levels change. Last year's assignment may not be valid today.
