Selling Memberships via Online Booking
Allow customers to purchase memberships directly through your online booking page.
Enabling Online Sales
Step 1: Enable in Online Booking Settings
- Go to Online Booking > Settings
- Find "Booking Types" section
- Toggle Enable Memberships to ON
- Save changes
Step 2: Mark Plans as Available
- Go to Memberships > Plans
- Edit each plan you want to sell online
- Toggle Available for Online Booking to ON
- Optionally mark as Featured for prominence
- Save changes
Customer Experience
Booking Type Selection
When visiting your booking page, customers see options:
- Services - Book individual appointments
- Packages - Purchase service bundles
- Group Classes - Join scheduled sessions
- Memberships - Subscribe for ongoing discounts
Membership Selection
Customers browse available plans showing:
- Plan name and description
- Monthly price
- Benefits included
- Featured plans highlighted at top
Checkout Flow
- Customer selects a plan
- Logs in or creates account
- Sets up payment via Stripe
- Membership activates immediately
- Receives confirmation email
After Purchase
For Customer
- Membership appears in portal
- Can book services with automatic discounts
- Manages billing in customer portal
For Business
- New member notification
- Shows in Memberships > Members
- Billing handled automatically via Stripe
Content-Based Display
The booking page is smart about what it shows:
- Only shows "Memberships" option if there are active plans
- If no plans available online, option doesn't appear
- Ensures customers only see valid options
Troubleshooting
Memberships Not Showing
- Verify Enable Memberships is ON in settings
- Check that plans have Available Online enabled
- Ensure at least one plan is Active
Payment Issues
- Stripe must be properly connected
- Check Stripe dashboard for errors
- Verify API keys are correct
