Customer Portal - Memberships
Customers can view and manage their memberships through the customer portal.
Accessing Memberships
- Customer logs into customer portal
- Dashboard shows active memberships summary
- Click View Memberships for full details
- Or navigate to Memberships in portal menu
Dashboard View
Active memberships show on the dashboard with:
- Membership name
- Monthly price
- Next billing date
- Quick link to full details
Membership Details Page
Customers see:
Current Membership
- Plan name and description
- Monthly price
- Status (Active/Cancelled)
- Billing dates
Benefits
- List of all discounts included
- Usage limits (if any)
- Current usage this period
Billing Information
- Next billing date
- Payment method on file
- Payment history
Self-Service Actions
Cancel Membership
- Click Cancel Membership
- Review cancellation policy
- If within policy period, shows when cancellation takes effect
- If too close to renewal, explains policy
- Confirm cancellation
View Billing History
- All past payments
- Dates and amounts
- Payment status
Purchasing New Membership
If customer doesn't have an active membership:
- Visit Memberships in portal
- Click Browse Available Plans
- See all available membership options
- Select a plan
- Complete Stripe payment setup
- Membership activates immediately
Notifications
Customers receive emails for:
- Purchase Confirmation - When membership starts
- Renewal Reminder - X days before renewal
- Renewal Success - When payment processes
- Cancellation Confirmed - When membership is cancelled
- Payment Failed - If charge fails
