How to issue memberships from the admin panel and via online booking

Issuing Memberships to Customers

There are two ways customers can get memberships: staff-issued or self-purchase online.

Method 1: Staff-Issued

Issue a membership directly from the customer's profile:

Steps

  1. Go to the Customer Profile
  2. Click the Memberships tab
  3. Click Issue Membership
  4. Select a membership plan
  5. Optionally skip initial payment
  6. Add notes if needed
  7. Click Issue

Payment Options

  • Process Payment - Charge immediately via Stripe
  • Skip Payment - Issue without charging (for promotions, gifts)

When to Use

  • Customer signs up in-salon
  • Special promotions or gifts
  • Corporate accounts

Method 2: Online Booking

Customers can purchase memberships through your online booking page:

Enable Online Sales

  1. Go to Online Booking Settings
  2. Toggle Enable Memberships to ON
  3. Mark plans as Available Online

Customer Flow

  1. Customer visits your booking page
  2. Selects "Memberships" option
  3. Browses available plans
  4. Selects a plan
  5. Logs in or creates account
  6. Sets up payment via Stripe
  7. Membership activates immediately

After Issuing

The membership appears in:

  • Customer's profile > Memberships tab
  • Customer portal (for online purchases)
  • All members list in Memberships > Members tab

Status indicators:

  • Active - Currently active and billing
  • Payment Failed - Billing issue, needs attention
  • Cancelled - Scheduled for cancellation
  • Expired - Past effective cancellation date
