How to issue memberships from the admin panel and via online booking
Issuing Memberships to Customers
There are two ways customers can get memberships: staff-issued or self-purchase online.
Method 1: Staff-Issued
Issue a membership directly from the customer's profile:
Steps
- Go to the Customer Profile
- Click the Memberships tab
- Click Issue Membership
- Select a membership plan
- Optionally skip initial payment
- Add notes if needed
- Click Issue
Payment Options
- Process Payment - Charge immediately via Stripe
- Skip Payment - Issue without charging (for promotions, gifts)
When to Use
- Customer signs up in-salon
- Special promotions or gifts
- Corporate accounts
Method 2: Online Booking
Customers can purchase memberships through your online booking page:
Enable Online Sales
- Go to Online Booking Settings
- Toggle Enable Memberships to ON
- Mark plans as Available Online
Customer Flow
- Customer visits your booking page
- Selects "Memberships" option
- Browses available plans
- Selects a plan
- Logs in or creates account
- Sets up payment via Stripe
- Membership activates immediately
After Issuing
The membership appears in:
- Customer's profile > Memberships tab
- Customer portal (for online purchases)
- All members list in Memberships > Members tab
Status indicators:
- Active - Currently active and billing
- Payment Failed - Billing issue, needs attention
- Cancelled - Scheduled for cancellation
- Expired - Past effective cancellation date
