- 3 failed attempts → SUSPENDED
Payment method update (new card) anytime.
When to use it
Scenario 1, trial ends, pick plan Subscription → Choose plan → Professional → payment method → ACTIVE.
Scenario 2, salon renovation 2 months Subscription → Pause → resume date 2 months out.
Scenario 3, salon closing Subscription → Cancel → deferred (use until paid cycle ends).
Scenario 4, expired card Email notification. Subscription → Update payment method → new card. Subscription auto-reactivates.
Scenario 5, plan switch for new feature Need group class module → upgrade Starter to Professional.
Tips
- Don't let trial expire without plan choice, you go SUSPENDED.
- Pause only when justified (renovation, long vacation). Cancellation is more permanent.
- Deferred cancellation safer than immediate, you can use paid time.
- Don't delay payment method update, after SUSPENDED data access is limited.
- Apply promo codes at plan switch, can't backdate later.
- Upgrade is prorated, downgrade (rarer) gives credit on next bill.
