Credits overview
The 3 credit types: SMS, Email Marketing, AI, how they're organized
Credits overview
Bookinda has 3 distinct credit types: SMS, Email Marketing, AI Assistant. Each has its own balance, purchased separately.
Where to find it
/manager/account/credits. Top: summary cards. Bottom: tabs.
The 3 types
SMS credits
- 1 credit = 1 SMS (160 chars)
- Longer SMS = more credits
- Purchasable in packages
Email Marketing credits
- 1 credit = 1 email
- Bulk send deducts recipient count
- Purchasable in packages
AI credits
- HUF-based (1 credit = ~1 HUF)
- Per-request consumption (simple request = few, autonomous = more)
- Custom top-up amount (min/max limits)
Plan-level base allocation
Each plan includes base credits:
- Starter: 0 SMS, 0 email, 0 AI
- Professional: 50 SMS/mo, 500 email/mo, 0 AI
- Business: larger monthly allocation, includes AI
Beyond allocation = extra credit purchase.

Low balance warning
If credit balance drops below configurable threshold, email warning. Threshold set at tenant level.
When to use it
Scenario 1, weekly low-credit check Account → Credits → cards. SMS below 30, buy package.
Scenario 2, before marketing campaign Marketing email to 500 customers. Check Email credit balance. At 200, buy 500-pack.
Scenario 3, intensive AI assistant use Daily AI questions. AI credit drains. Account → Credits → AI tab → custom 50,000 HUF top-up.
Scenario 4, dispute over a credit consumption Transaction history tab → filter by date. Per-row see what was used.
Tips
- 3 credit types are separate, don't mix. SMS budget doesn't cover marketing email.
- Bigger package = better unit rate: 500-pack/SMS cheaper than 100-pack/SMS.
- AI is HUF-based, easier to budget (10,000 HUF ~ 200-300 medium requests).
- Plan-level base allocation resets monthly, use it.
- Set warning threshold high, don't run out mid-campaign.
- Accept terms is mandatory every purchase, don't skip.
