Billing info and invoice generation
Company data, VAT status, invoice integration (Billingo / Számlázz.hu)
Billing info
Set your salon's official company data here. Every invoice is generated from this.
Where to find it
/manager/account/billing. Or Settings → Account → Billing.
Fields
- Company name (exact official name, e.g., "Anna Kovács E.V." or "BeautySalon Ltd.")
- Tax ID (e.g., "12345678-1-23")
- EU VAT number (if any, for intra-EU customers)
- Address (postcode, city, street, number)
- Email (where invoices go)
- VAT status: VAT-exempt / VAT-registered (Hungarian 27% applies?)
Invoice generation
If you connected Billingo or Számlázz.hu, Bookinda auto-generates:
- Subscription invoices (monthly/annual)
- Add-on invoices
- Credit purchase invoices
Invoices go to the configured email and appear on Invoices page (account/invoices).
VAT calculation
- Hungarian VAT-registered: 27% VAT
- Subject-exempt: 0% VAT
- EU-VAT registered, another EU state: 0% VAT (reverse charge)
- Outside EU: 0% VAT
System calculates automatically based on VAT status.
Viewing invoices
Account → Invoices tab:
- List of all past invoices
- PDF download
- Payment status (Paid / Unpaid / Overdue)
When to use it
Scenario 1, new salon first setup Fill during onboarding. Trial-period pre-bill already correctly stamped.
Scenario 2, company form change (sole proprietor → LLC) Tax ID and name change. Billing info → update. Future invoices use new data.
Scenario 3, VAT-status change You enter VAT system. VAT status: VAT-registered. Future invoices have 27% VAT.
Scenario 4, accountant asks for invoice Account → Invoices → download PDF.
Tips
- Double-check company data, wrong-name invoice can't be booked by accountant.
- Tax ID exact format (with hyphens): "12345678-1-23."
- EU VAT only if real, fake number triggers EU VAT charge.
- Billingo / Számlázz.hu integration via Connect page, ~5 minutes.
- Monitor invoice email, mandatory receipt for accountant.
