Integrations, connecting external systems
Online booking, email, calendar sync, push, invoicing, hotel PMS, EESZT, analytics, webhooks
Integrations
The Integrations tab manages external services you connect to Bookinda. Four main sections.
1. Online booking
Booking Connect
Embeddable booking widget for your own website. JS snippet, two formats (button or embedded calendar).
Web Connect
Edit a mini-website that goes behind the Bookinda link. Logo, description, photos, booking link.
Online Booking settings
How customer-side booking behaves: new-customer block, waitlist, package sales, booking-field customization.
2. Communication
Email Connect
Connect your Gmail or other email provider so customer emails sent by Bookinda come from your address (not "@bookinda.hu" sender).
Calendar Sync
Google Calendar or Apple Calendar sync. Salon bookings show up in stylist's own calendar.
Telegram
Telegram channel notifications. New booking, no-show, payment instantly hit the Telegram group.
Push Notifications
Manager / Staff app push. Mobile app receives booking events.
3. Finance
Billingo
Invoice generation integration. Billingo API key given, sales auto-convert to invoices.
Számlázz.hu
Alternative to Billingo. Similar logic.
Hotel PMS (Hostware)
Spa-in-hotel integration. Spa bookings post to hotel room bill.
Medical / EESZT
For healthcare service providers. EESZT reporting and prescription delivery. See: Medical module article.
4. Developer
Analytics
Google Analytics and Meta Pixel for booking page. Conversion tracking.
Webhooks
External systems get notified of Bookinda events (new booking, cancellation, payment).
Use case scenarios
Scenario 1: Booking widget on your website
You have your own website and want a booking button there. Booking Connect, generate JS snippet, paste in your HTML. 10 minutes.
Scenario 2: Email from "@yourname.hu"
Customers get "[email protected]" confirmations, which feels unprofessional. Email Connect, connect your Gmail. Now emails come from "[email protected]".
Scenario 3: Stylist personal calendar
Bella always checks her schedule in Google Calendar. Calendar Sync on, her Bookinda bookings auto-appear in Google.
Scenario 4: Telegram channel pings
Every new booking should ping the Telegram group. Telegram integration on, channel ID set. Everyone real-time aware of every booking.
Scenario 5: Invoices to Billingo
Your bookkeeper uses Billingo. Invoicing → Billingo, API key. From now on every sale auto-becomes an invoice.
Tips
- You don't need everything at once: start with online booking integration and email. Add others gradually.
- API key handling: Bookinda stores them securely, but don't share with others.
- Test before going live: 1-2 test bookings, test invoices, test Telegram messages. If all good, launch.
- Telegram integration is a quick win: 5-minute setup, huge efficiency boost in team communication.
- Calendar Sync is two-way: events added in Google Calendar can appear in Bookinda (if configured).
- Webhooks are advanced: only use if you need to sync with external systems. Otherwise automations are enough.
