Best practices
- Create templates for your most common gift amounts (5,000, 10,000, 20,000 Ft).
- Create service-specific templates for popular treatments.
- Use clear, customer-friendly names.
- Review expiry settings based on local gift card regulations.
Use case scenarios
Scenario 1: Standard amount templates
Create three templates: 5k, 10k, 20k Ft. Cover 80% of voucher requests. Reception issues in seconds.
Scenario 2: Service-specific package
"Manicure & pedicure gift" template, fixed 12,000 Ft. Sells well on Mother's Day and Christmas. Customers buy as a complete experience gift.
Scenario 3: VIP exclusive template
"VIP gift voucher" template, 50,000 Ft, exclusive design. Only manager can issue. Used for top-tier customers as thanks.
Scenario 4: Promotional template
"Black Friday gift card" template, limited time, 30% discount on issue. Drives a seasonal sales spike.
Tips
- 3-5 templates is optimal: too few feels limiting, too many feels confusing.
- Update names yearly: "2026 New Year gift" feels outdated by mid-year.
- Match amounts to customer behavior: if 5k Ft is unsold, drop it. If a 30k Ft tier exists, add it.
