Setting Up Membership Tiers

Membership tiers recognize your most loyal customers with special benefits and status. Create up to 5 tier levels.

Tier Configuration

Basic Tier Settings

For each tier, configure:

  • Name: Display name (e.g., "Gold Member")
  • Description: Benefits summary
  • Color: Visual indicator throughout the app
  • Icon: Star, crown, diamond, etc.

Tier Thresholds

Choose how customers advance:

  • Points-based: Reach X points to advance
  • Spend-based: Spend X amount to advance

Example tier structure:

Tier Duration

How long tier status lasts:

  • Lifetime: Once achieved, never lost
  • Calendar year: Resets January 1st
  • Rolling year: Resets 12 months from achievement

Tier Rewards

Assign rewards that automatically apply to tier members:

Automatic Benefits

  • Percentage discount: 10% off all services for Gold members
  • Free service: Complimentary add-on per visit
  • Priority booking: Earlier access to appointments

Unlimited vs One-time

  • Unlimited: Benefit applies to every visit
  • One-time: Awarded once when tier is achieved

Creating a New Tier

  1. Go to Loyalty > Tiers
  2. Click Add Tier
  3. Enter tier details (name, color, icon)
  4. Set the threshold (points or spend)
  5. Assign tier rewards
  6. Click Save

Default Tier

The first tier (usually "Bronze" or "Member") should have:

  • Threshold of 0 (everyone starts here)
  • Is Default toggle enabled
  • Basic benefits or none

All new loyalty enrollees start at the default tier.
