Creating Loyalty Rewards

Rewards are what customers redeem their points for. Create compelling rewards to drive engagement.

Reward Types

Amount Discount

A fixed currency amount off the purchase.

  • Example: $10 off any service
  • Best for: Simple, easy-to-understand rewards
  • Points cost: e.g., 1,000 points

Percentage Discount

A percentage off the total purchase.

  • Example: 15% off your next visit
  • Best for: Higher-value purchases
  • Points cost: e.g., 1,500 points

Free Service

A complimentary service from your menu.

  • Example: Free express manicure
  • Best for: Encouraging trial of new services
  • Points cost: e.g., 2,000 points

Free Product

A complimentary retail product.

  • Example: Free travel-size shampoo
  • Best for: Clearing inventory, product trials
  • Points cost: e.g., 500 points

Reward Settings

Points Cost

How many points required to redeem:

  • Set based on reward value
  • Higher-value rewards = more points
  • Keep some rewards achievable (500-1,000 points)

Restrictions

  • Minimum purchase: Reward only applies above amount
  • Expiry days: How long after earning before it expires
  • In-store only: Not valid for online booking
  • Combinable: Can use with other discounts

Service/Product Restrictions

  • All services: Reward applies to everything
  • Specific services: Only selected services
  • All products: Reward applies to all products
  • Specific products: Only selected products

Creating a New Reward

  1. Go to Loyalty > Rewards
  2. Click Add Reward
  3. Choose reward type (amount, percentage, free service, free product)
  4. Set the value (amount, percentage, or linked item)
  5. Set the points cost
  6. Configure restrictions (minimum purchase, expiry, etc.)
  7. Click Save

Reward Strategy Tips

  • Variety: Offer rewards at different point levels
  • Achievability: Include rewards under 1,000 points
  • Value perception: Make point-to-value ratio clear
  • Limited time: Create urgency with expiring rewards
