Widget, embedding and sharing
Customizing the booking widget, embedding on your website, direct link, QR code
Widget, embedding and sharing
The booking widget is what customers see: the visual appearance of the Bookinda booking page. This tab controls the widget's look and how you distribute it.
Where to find it
Settings → Online Booking → Widget section.
Visual customization
Primary color
Color of main buttons and highlighted elements. Match your salon brand color.
Accent color
Secondary colors (hover states, icons). Complement to primary.
Live color preview
The UI shows a sample button and link with current colors. If it looks good, save.
Enable CAPTCHA
Spam booking prevention. If you see bot bookings, turn it on. Otherwise skip, it adds tiny customer friction.
Embed code
A JS snippet to paste into your website's HTML. Two formats:
- Button: a floating "Book appointment" button in the corner
- Embedded calendar: the entire booking page inline on your site
Copy the code, paste, save the page. Seconds.
Direct link
The yourname.bookinda.hu URL. Share at:
- Instagram bio
- Facebook page
- Google Maps business profile
- Flyers (as QR code)
QR code
The UI generates a QR code for the booking link. Download, print:
- Reception desk
- Flyers
- Window display
- Next to products ("rebook with QR")
Customer photos with phone, lands on booking page.
Use case scenarios
Scenario 1: Instagram marketing
Every post references "link in bio" pointing to yourname.bookinda.hu. Customers book with one tap.
Scenario 2: You have your own website
Paste embed code on the "Book" page. Customer doesn't leave your website but uses Bookinda flow.
Scenario 3: QR code in window
Walk-by customer sees the QR on the window, photographs it, books. Before even entering.
Scenario 4: Spam control
Bot bookings come in. CAPTCHA on, bots stop, humans add 2 seconds.
Scenario 5: Brand match
Salon brand is purple. Primary purple, accent pink. Booking page matches the logo image.
Tips
- Keep colors simple: 2-3 matching colors. Too many or too loud alienates customers.
- Direct link is most universal: fast share, works on mobile and desktop.
- Widget works if you have your own website: if not, just link and QR.
- QR codes for physical places: window, flyer. Online, the link is better.
- CAPTCHA only when there's actual spam: otherwise unnecessary friction.
