When to use it

Scenario 1, top-selling service Sales → Overview → Sales by Service chart. Top 1 at the top. Confirms or surprises.

Scenario 2, online vs offline mix Sales → Overview → Sales by Channel donut. 65% appointment online, 30% in-store. Know where to focus.

Scenario 3, packages vs individual services Sales → Summary. By type: how much from packages, how much from individual services.

Scenario 4, pending payments Sales → List → Status: Pending. Collection list ready.

Scenario 5, online purchase but no service yet Sales → List → Channel: Online + Status: Paid + Item: Voucher. Online gift vouchers visible.

Tips

  • Sales by Service chart inspires promo planning: highlight the top 3 services on the booking page.
  • Avg ticket is a key KPI, rising = selling well; falling = maybe too many discounts.
  • Voided sales are a separate category, opened but not completed. Sometimes erroneous, worth reviewing.
  • Pending status isn't bad on its own, only long-pending sales need collection.
  • Sales by Channel donut shapes marketing: 80% online appointment = booking page is the critical point. Optimize it.
  • Watch refunded sales, lots = export and talk to customers.
