Reports module overview
Bookinda Reports module: 11 report tabs, global filters, export, scheduling
Reports module
Reports is one of Bookinda's most complex modules. 11 top-level reports, each with 3-13 sub-tabs. This is where you see the full financial, operational, and customer picture of your business, and every report is exportable.
Where to find it

- Custom (any start-end date)
Location
Only shows up if you have multiple locations and you're an Owner.

Filters by one team member (instead of aggregate).
Report-specific filters
E.g., Sales → item type (service, product, package), channel (online, in-store).
Global actions (top-right)
- Export – CSV or Excel download
- Print – browser print dialog
- Schedule – scheduled email send (e.g., every Monday morning, last week's report)
When to use it
Scenario 1, end-of-month quick overview Reports → Dashboard → "Last month" preset. KPI cards immediately show: sales, bookings, avg ticket, occupancy, retention. 2 minutes.
Scenario 2, who's the top performer Reports → Team → Performance Summary. Sort by revenue. Top 3 at the top.
Scenario 3, underused time slots Reports → Dashboard → Hourly Occupancy chart. You see 14:00-16:00 is empty → happy-hour discount idea.
Scenario 4, unpaid invoices last month Reports → Sales → List → Status: Pending. List is there.
Scenario 5, accountant needs monthly financial file Reports → Finance → Summary. Export → Excel. Send.
Drill-down
Many reports let you click a row to jump to the source:
- Booking ref → Calendar view at that time
- Customer name → Customer profile
- Sale # → Sales details
Pagination
Tables are paginated (50/page default). Previous/Next buttons, "X-Y of Z" indicator.
Tips
- Learn the Dashboard first, that's where the 8 most important KPIs are. Other reports add detail.
- Save your favorite filters (future feature) or use the "Schedule" button for weekly/monthly auto-reports.
- Location filter only shows for Owner role, normal if you're Manager and don't see it.
- Excel export is HTML-based, older Excel versions may need manual conversion. CSV is more universal.
- AI Assistant is new, you can ask in natural language: "How much revenue did we make last month?" Try it.
- Global filters persist across tab switches, no need to reset on every tab.
