Use case scenarios
Scenario 1: Standard package redemption
Customer visits for her 4th manicure from a 5x package. Reception opens the booking, picks the customer, sees "Manicure (3/5 used)", clicks Use, saves. Counter ticks to 4/5.
Scenario 2: Wrongly redeemed
The 1st service got accidentally redeemed twice. Manager opens redemption history, finds the wrong entry, clicks Undo. Counter restores.
Scenario 3: Package expired
Customer left 2 unused sessions, the package expired. Manager decides: extend the expiry, or refund the value as store credit.
Scenario 4: Walk-in redemption
Customer walks in for an existing package service. POS opens her profile, picks the service from the package, payment amount 0 Ft. Counter updates.
Tips
- Always check remaining count: customers often don't remember how many sessions are left.
- Only manager can undo: intentional, redemption-undo could be manipulated.
- Expiry reminders work: customers know in advance what to use up.
- Refunds for expired with care: act of grace, not the rule.
