How to issue packages from templates or create custom packages

Issuing Packages to Customers

Once you have templates ready, you can issue packages to customers in two ways.

Accessing Issue Package

  1. Go to a Customer Profile
  2. Click the Packages tab
  3. Click Issue Package button

Method 1: From Template

The quickest way to issue a package:

Select Template

  1. Choose From Template tab
  2. Select a template from the dropdown
  3. Preview shows the package details

Template Preview

Shows:

  • Package name and description
  • Services with quantities
  • Original and final price

Payment Status

Set the initial payment status:

  • Unpaid - Customer hasn't paid yet
  • Partial - Partial payment received
  • Paid - Fully paid

Notes

Add optional notes about this specific package issue.

Issue

Click Issue Package to create the customer's package.

Method 2: Custom Package

Create a one-off package for special situations:

Package Name

Enter a custom name for this package.

Add Services

  1. Select services from the dropdown
  2. Set quantities using +/- buttons
  3. Remove services by reducing quantity to 0

Discount

Apply a custom discount:

  • Choose Percentage or Fixed Amount
  • Enter the discount value

Validity

Set a custom validity period.

Price Summary

Real-time calculation shows:

  • Original price (sum of all services)
  • Discount amount
  • Final price

Issue

Complete the form and click Issue Package.

After issuing

The package appears in the customer's Packages tab with:

  • Status badge (Active)
  • Payment badge
  • Services with progress bars
  • Expiry date (if applicable)

Use case scenarios

Scenario 1: Standard template issue

Customer wants the "5x cuts package". Reception opens her profile, Packages tab, Issue, From Template, picks "5x cuts", customer pays at the till. Done in 30 seconds.

Scenario 2: Custom one-off

VIP customer wants a unique combo of services. Use Custom path: pick services, set price/discount, mark PAID, save. Tailored package, no template pollution.

Scenario 3: Pay-later issue

Trusted customer wants to spread payment. Issue UNPAID, agree on payment plan. Customer can use sessions while paying off in installments.

Scenario 4: Holiday gift package

Customer's husband orders the salon's "Spa day" package as a birthday gift. Issued from template under his wife's profile. She redeems on her birthday.

Tips

  • Sablonból when possible: faster and consistent.
  • Custom for VIPs and one-offs: don't pollute the template list.
  • Track payment status accurately: PAID, PARTIAL, UNPAID. Get this right at issue time.
  • Communicate expiry: tell the customer when the package expires.
