Navigating the manager interface

Bookinda's manager interface has three places where navigation lives: the sidebar on the left (desktop), the top bar at the top, and the bottom nav on mobile. Once you know what's where, you'll move around the app very quickly.

The sidebar (desktop)

The sidebar is the main map of the app. Click an item to expand its submenu, click again to collapse. The sections you'll see are roughly in the order you use them day-to-day:

Top of the sidebar

  • Dashboard: today's overview, KPIs, upcoming appointments.
  • Calendar: where you actually book, move, and manage appointments. This is the page you'll spend most time on.

Customers

  • Customers: your customer database with phone, email, history, notes.
  • Reviews: incoming customer reviews and your replies.
  • Messages: SMS and chat threads with customers.
  • Inbox: customer email replies (only shows if email connect is enabled).

Catalog

Everything you sell or offer:

  • Services: your service list with prices, durations, categories.
  • Add-ons: extras customers can attach to a main service.
  • Forms: consent forms, intake questionnaires.
  • Packages: bundled prepaid services.
  • Memberships: recurring monthly access products.
  • Gift Vouchers: sellable vouchers customers can redeem.
  • Promo Codes: discount codes for marketing campaigns.
  • Smart Pricing: time-based pricing rules (e.g. weekend uplift).
  • Loyalty: points-based loyalty program.

Group classes

For yoga, pilates, fitness, group lessons:

  • Schedule: weekly class schedule.
  • Categories: groupings of similar classes.
  • Class passes + Class pass templates: prepaid cards for multiple classes.
  • Outstanding balances: who still owes you money.
  • Settings: class-specific settings.

Sales & Finance

  • POS: the cash register for in-person sales.
  • All Sales: every transaction, refundable.
  • Reports: revenue, occupancy, retention.
  • Finances: tax-ready financial reports (when enabled).

Marketing

  • Email Campaigns, SMS Marketing, Push Campaigns: outbound to customers.
  • Credits: SMS top-ups.
  • Automations: birthday emails, win-back, retention triggers.

Mini Website

A simple landing page with your services and booking link. Optional and easy to set up.

Warehouse

  • Products, Inventory, Suppliers: only useful if you resell products.

Industry-specific sections

These appear depending on your tenant configuration:

  • Hotel: PMS connection, QR codes, packages, occupancy pricing (for spa-in-hotel setups).
  • Solarium: tanning bed devices, packages.
  • Medical: visit documentation, EESZT integration.

Settings

The deepest menu in the app. Key items:

  • Staff members, Working hours tracking, Staff attributes, Team chat.
  • Online Booking: rules, deposits, blocked periods.
  • Integrations: third-party connectors.
  • NTAK adatszolgáltatás: Hungarian tourism data reporting.
  • AI Assistant, Data Import.
  • Business, Locations, Resources, Payments, Calendar: core system settings.

The top bar

The top bar is always visible. From left to right:

  • Hamburger / collapse button: hide the sidebar to give the page more room.
  • Location switcher: if you have multiple locations, switch between them here. The whole app then shows that location's data.
  • Search: find any customer by name or phone.
  • Clock quick access: lets staff clock in/out without leaving the page.
  • Cash register quick access: jumps you straight to POS.
  • Notification bell: bookings, cancellations, system alerts.
  • Avatar (top right): your account menu, with profile, settings, and logout.

Mobile bottom nav

On phones, the sidebar is replaced by a bottom navigation bar with five items:

  • Calendar
  • Customers
  • + button (center, primary action: new appointment)
  • Sales
  • More (opens the full menu drawer with everything else)

The "More" drawer gives you access to every section the desktop sidebar has, just stacked vertically.

Tips for moving around quickly

  • The sidebar collapses when you don't need it. Click the hamburger to give yourself a wider calendar view.
  • Bookmark the pages you visit most: Calendar, Customers, Reports.
  • The URL pattern is consistent: /t/your-slug/calendar, /t/your-slug/customers, etc. You can type the URL directly if you're a power user.
  • The breadcrumb at the top of every settings page shows where you are in the hierarchy. Click any segment to jump up a level.
