Occupancy-based Dynamic Pricing
When the hotel is full, demand for spa services is also higher. With this feature, Bookinda automatically adjusts spa prices based on current hotel occupancy.
How It Works
The system syncs active hotel guest counts daily. When occupancy reaches a set threshold, the pricing rule activates automatically and the spa prices shown to guests are adjusted.
Setup Steps
- Navigate to Hotel > Occupancy Pricing
- Enter the total room count (e.g. 80)
- Click New Rule
- Set the occupancy threshold and price adjustment percentage
- Save the rule
Tips
- + percentage means surcharge (useful for high occupancy)
- - percentage means discount (for generating bookings in quiet periods)
- When multiple rules match, the highest priority rule activates
- Manual occupancy overrides the automatic calculation
