Accountant export
Sending the monthly file to your accountant traditionally means juggling spreadsheets. Bookinda supports five formats directly plus two sync integrations (coming soon).
Where to find it
Finances → Export tab.
Period selector
Top panel:
- Start date and End date (custom)
- Previous month button (quick switch)
- This year button (YTD)
- Content: All / Revenue only / Expenses only
The period applies to all formats.
Available formats
1. Generic CSV / XLSX
Universal spreadsheet, any accountant can read it. Columns: date, description, counterparty, category, amount, VAT. If your accountant is the "just send the spreadsheet" type, this is the format.
2. PDF monthly report
Formatted report with summaries, charts, tax-regime breakdown. KPIs, category chart, payment method breakdown. Typically for archiving or printing the monthly file in one shot.
3. RLB-60 journal
Voucher journal format with general ledger numbers. RLB software reads it directly.
4. Kulcs-Soft
Kulcs-Soft accounting software revenue/expense import-compatible CSV.
5. Novitax Wintax
Novitax Wintax import-compatible CSV.
6. Számlázz.hu sync (coming soon)
Direct sync, not file download. Bookinda uploads data directly to your Számlázz.hu account.
7. Billingo sync (coming soon)
Same as Számlázz.hu but for Billingo.
When to use it
Scenario 1, end of month send to accountant Finances → Export. Previous month button (default is current, but accountant wants last month's data). Content: All. Format: whatever your accountant prefers (e.g., Kulcs-Soft if that's their software).
Scenario 2, year-end summary This year button. PDF monthly report. Whole-year P&L visualized.
Scenario 3, only expenses for the accountant Content: Expenses only. Generic CSV. Clean, expenses only.
Scenario 4, preparing for tax authority audit PDF monthly report for each month. Or full year. Archivable, printable.
How you get the file
Download button starts the browser download immediately. Email send (to configured accountant address) is a future feature.
The accountant software field
If you set a preferred accountant software in Finances → Settings, the Export page highlights that as the recommended format. Saves time.
Tips
- Agree on the format with your accountant first, no point sending Kulcs-Soft if they use RLB.
- PDF report is great for archiving, but not for importing into accounting software. Use CSV or specific format for that.
- Számlázz.hu and Billingo sync are in development, currently show "Coming soon". Until then use CSV or the existing Számlázz.hu / Billingo invoice integrations.
- Save monthly exports to a folder, gives you an archive for the tax authority.
- Exports contain estimates, always consult your accountant or tax advisor for final settlement.
- If something is off in the export, check the Finances Overview first. If wrong there, fix at the recurring or bank import level.
