Reward types, payout, limits, conditions
Referral rewards
Reward is SuperAdmin-configured at platform level. Here we cover what you get, how, and when.
Reward types
1. Subscription credit
Reward amount credited to your next monthly (or annual) subscription invoice. E.g., 5,000 HUF: next month's 25,000 HUF becomes 20,000 HUF.
2. SMS credit
Your SMS balance increases. E.g., 5,000 HUF reward = ~50-100 SMS at package unit price.
3. Free month
Subscription extends by one month without charge. (Less common reward type.)
When the reward triggers
Reward is "COMPLETED" when:
- Referred salon hits QUALIFIED status (picked qualifying plan)
- Plus: if
requirePaidMonthflag is active, they completed a paid month too
Trigger can be:
- Signup only: at new salon registration (rare)
- Subscription tier reached: e.g., Professional or higher
- First paid month: most common, only after actual payment
Where you see the reward
/manager/account/referrals → total earned.
On subscription page: "Credit applied" line on next invoice.
For SMS / Email credit: Credits page transaction history shows PURCHASE type, "Referral reward" note.
Limits
- Max referrals monthly (e.g., 10): max 10 referrals per month qualify for reward
- Time-out: PENDING → QUALIFIED must happen in 30-90 days
- Non-reversible: if referred salon later cancels, reward usually stays with you
Claim flow
Usually automatic:
- Referred salon completes qualification
- Platform processes
- Reward credited within 24-72 hours
- Email notification
No manual claim needed.
Payout method
Reward is not cash:
- Subscription credit → on next invoice
- SMS credit → SMS balance
- Free month → subscription period extended
So the referral program is not cash payout, it's platform credit.
When to use it
Scenario 1, accumulated reward review Quarterly review of referrals dashboard. 50,000 HUF subscription credit accumulated. Appears on next invoice.
Scenario 2, "lost" referral A referred salon stayed PENDING 3 months. Time-out, no reward. Reach back to ask the salon why they stalled.
Scenario 3, free month vs credit If both reward types configured, you can pick. Usually credit is more useful (flexible).
Scenario 4, reward dispute You think COMPLETED, Bookinda says not. SuperAdmin support, they trace transactions.
Tips
- Reward is platform credit, not cash, but valuable (10-30,000 HUF/mo per salon size).
- Free month is sometimes more flexible, if you're a low-volume credit consumer.
- 24-72h processing is normal, don't worry about immediate credit absence.
- SuperAdmin can change reward rules, so program rule may shift (you get notified).
- Referred salon is long-term reward: longer they stay subscriber, more you earn.
- Reward usually not reversed if new salon cancels, no worry.
