Whitelabel email and portal section extends brand experience to automatic emails and customer UI.
Email template customization
What's modifiable
- Header background: header background color
- Accent: buttons and links color
- Footer background
- Email header logo (uploaded in Branding section)
- Footer text: salon contact, social links
What's NOT modifiable
- Body content template: platform-level (Bookinda maintains)
- Field names and text content: only design changeable
- Email signature: from salon owner contact info
Customer Portal customization
What's modifiable
- Primary color: portal main action color (buttons)
- Background color: portal background
- Customer Portal logo (uploaded in Branding section)
Module selectivity
Modules shown to customer in portal can be toggled:
- Bookings / Packages / Membership / Loyalty / Wallet / Forms
- Within whitelabel is brand appearance, but module enabling is separate Settings → Customer Portal
Social links
Social links in footer:
- TikTok
- YouTube
- Own website
Links appear in email + portal + booking page (footer section).
Custom "Powered by" text
"Powered by Bookinda" base text:
- Toggle OFF: no Powered by text
- Toggle ON + Default: "Powered by Bookinda"
- Custom text: e.g., "Powered by [Salon name]" or "Made with ❤️ by [Salon name]"

- Send test email button
- Test email goes to specified address
- See style before going live
Customer Portal preview
On portal config page incognito link:
- Customer-perspective view
- Open without auth
- Refresh after config change
When to use it
Scenario 1, full brand consistency Salon brand color is purple. Email header + Customer Portal + Booking Page all with purple accent. Customer gets consistent experience.
Scenario 2, premium "Made with ❤️" "Powered by Bookinda" toggle OFF. Custom text: "Made with ❤️ by GlamSalon." Customer doesn't sense Bookinda platform behind.
Scenario 3, social-marketing focus Salon active on Facebook + Instagram. Add to footer. Every email + portal + booking shows social presence to customer.
Scenario 4, agency-resell You're agency "Beauty Solutions." Custom Powered by: "Powered by Beauty Solutions." Salons don't know Bookinda is behind.
Scenario 5, email design iteration New email color config. Send test email to yourself. Visual check. Save.
Tips
- Email template color tested in Apple Mail / Gmail, render differences may emerge.
- Social links are active hyperlinks, don't leave bad URL.
- "Powered by" hide is mandatory in agency model, optional in salon model.
- Footer text max 200 chars, don't be too long.
- Customer Portal module enabling is separate Settings → Customer Portal, whitelabel is only appearance.
- Test email to your own address, before sending to customers.
