Meetings module
Meetings module is the hub for in-salon and external meetings. Team meetings, customer consultations, interviews, training, workshops – all tracked here.

The 7 meeting types
STAFF_MEETING
Team meeting (weekly standup, monthly review).
CLIENT_MEETING
Customer meeting (business customer, paid consultation).
CONSULTATION
General consultation (new customer, pre-service).
INTERVIEW
Job interview (new staff hiring).
TRAINING
Training (new staff training, technique learning).
WORKSHOP
Workshop (multiple participants, themed).
OTHER
Other (e.g., supplier meeting).
The 3 location types
IN_PERSON
In-person, at salon or elsewhere.
ONLINE
Video call (Zoom, Teams, Google Meet, etc.). Meeting has link and platform info.
HYBRID
Mixed: some participants in-person, others online.
Participants
Add participants to the meeting:
- Staff (tenant internal)
- Customer (customer record)
- External contact (external, email only)
Each with role:
- ORGANIZER: meeting organizer (you)
- REQUIRED: mandatory attendance
- OPTIONAL: optional
RSVP
Each participant's RSVP status:
- PENDING: not yet responded
- ACCEPTED: yes, attending
- DECLINED: no, not attending
- TENTATIVE: maybe
External participants (no auth) can RSVP via public token link (no Bookinda account).
Resource conflict detection
System checks if participants are free at meeting time. If someone has another meeting or booking, warning.
Online meeting integration
Online meeting fields:
- Platform (e.g., "Zoom", "Teams", "Google Meet")
- Link (e.g., zoom.us/j/123)
- Instructions (e.g., "DM on Slack for code")
Paid meetings
Customer consultation can be paid:
- Price + Currency
- Customer pays via Bookinda checkout
Cron reminder
Auto-email reminder one day before to participants (Bookinda cron).
When to use it
Scenario 1, weekly team meeting Monday 9:00 STAFF_MEETING. All staff participants, ORGANIZER you. IN_PERSON at salon.
Scenario 2, online customer consultation ONLINE CONSULTATION with interested customer. Zoom link in meeting. Customer joins via public RSVP link.
Scenario 3, job interview INTERVIEW. External candidate + Owner. RSVP link sent. Timezone check.
Scenario 4, paid consultation Tattoo consultation with customer. CONSULTATION, Price 5,000 HUF. Customer pays via checkout, confirms with RSVP.
Scenario 5, recurring training Monthly TRAINING staff development. Recurrence rule: first Thursday of each month 14:00. System auto-generates.
Tips
- Meeting system doesn't replace Calendar booking system, this is for meetings only.
- Participant conflict detection is warning, not blocking.
- Online meeting link is active hyperlink, don't paste wrong.
- Public RSVP token lives 30 days, new link needed after.
- Cron reminder goes 24 hours before, not finer-configurable.
- Paid meeting goes via Bookinda checkout, not other payment channels.
