Beyond basic appointment management, Staff Portal offers a few more useful tools.
Search
Where

Searches
In weekly bookings (current week + previous + next):
- Customer name (first / last)
- Customer phone
- Customer email
- Service name
Result
Order: by appointment time. Click → booking detail.
When useful
- Customer calls: "When's my booking?" Search → name → found.
- Customer wants to swap: which service was it? Search.
Notifications
Where

What you see
- New booking on your calendar
- Booking modified (time / service swap)
- Booking cancelled
- Booking rescheduled
Notifications page is a chronological log alongside push.
Push
- Web push (browser, if enabled)
- Mobile app push (Bookinda Staff app)
Push content:
- Customer name
- Time
- Service
- Click → app opens booking detail

The 4 fields
- Language: Hungarian / English
- Notifications: on/off (push)
- Dark mode: on/off (eye-friendly evenings)
- Manager dashboard link: if authorized, click to jump to full Manager UI
Profile
Profile edit (name, photo) usually not here, but on Manager UI (Reception or Owner does it).

When to use it
Scenario 1, customer lookup Customer calls: "I'm Anna, when's my booking?" Search → "Anna" → 14:00, today. Reply.
Scenario 2, push received New booking push: "Béla Kovács, haircut, tomorrow 10:00." You accept, prepare.
Scenario 3, dark mode Evening bookings 19:00-21:00. Settings → Dark mode → on. Eye-friendly.
Scenario 4, language switch New English-speaking provider. Settings → English. UI in English.
Scenario 5, manager UI quick access Your Staff also got Reception permission. Settings → "Manager dashboard" link → full UI.
Tips
- Search is most-used at reception, worth a bookmark.
- Notifications page survives without push noise, good overview.
- Dark mode eye-friendly, evening activation recommended.
- Language switch is per-user, each sets own.
- Push enable is precondition, otherwise only in-app notification.
- Help page contacts are real support channels, don't ignore for issues.
